Two demons brothers animated through clay-mation

What happens when you put Henry Selick, a vanguard of all things spooky stop-motion, and Jordan Peele, a pioneer in socio-political feats of horror and comedy, in the same room? You get Wendell & Wild, a cornucopia of the macabre, the mischievous, and hilariously kooky characters to match.

Kat Elliot (Lyric Ross) is a young hell maiden who mistakenly summons two delightfully dangerous demons, Wendell (Keegan-Michael Key) and Wild (Jordan Peele), into the land of the living. Naturally, they have an ulterior motive. With the demonic duo on the precipice of creating their own army of the dead, it’s up to Kat, her friends, and a friendly goat to put an end to it all.

The film’s latest trailer dishes out gorgeous animation, ample twists and turns, and a wildly wacky duo at the heart of it all.

Wendell & Wild also stars Angela Bassett, James Hong, and Ving Rhames.

Watch Wendell & Wild on Netflix, Oct. 28.
