Air fryers. You know ’em and you love ’em — or maybe you don’t, and that’s why you’re looking to test one for cheap. Amazon’s new Prime Early Access Sale, running Oct. 11 and 12, is joining the ranks of Prime Day and Black Friday as the best time of year to buy an air fryer on sale. Plus, scoring one mid-October means you can use it for fall recipes.
Pressure cookers that also air fry (among other things) will probably see a lot of deals traffic. But if you’re down to consider a fryer outside of the Ninja Foodi/Instant Pot universe, we’re hoping to see a sale on the simple Magic Bullet air fryer or a smart oven from Breville.

Why we like it
Multicookers like Instant Pots do replace a ton of appliances, but at six quarts, they’re not always space saving enough. Why we like it
Best Buy may not be the first (or second, or third) retailer that comes to mind for kitchen appliances that aren’t a $1,500 fridge, but its deals on countertop gadgets beat Amazon on occasion. Multicooker deals
Why we like it
Aside from an indisputably more attractive digital display, the newer Foodi models may not appear much different from the original cooker. You’ll notice when you open the lid — because there aren’t two anymore. Ninja finally replaced the clunky two-lids-on-hinges design with a SmartLid, which pressure cooks, air fries and bakes, and « SteamCrisps » without switching lids. This particular Foodi also has settings for sous vide, making yogurt, proofing dough, and more.
