a collage of products on sale during target deal days

This holiday shopping season, Jeff Bezos’ biggest rivals wear red polos and khakis.

Target has revived its Deal Days event from Oct. 6 through 8, offering discounts of up to 50% across every department and exclusive gift card promotions — no membership fee required. It’s billing the event as its biggest yet, plugging « over half a million holiday gifting deals across the latest toys, electronics, and video games » in addition to savings on beauty products, groceries, and everyday household essentials.

Deal Days comes just ahead of Amazon‘s first-ever Prime Early Access Sale from Oct. 11 to 12, which may give some shoppers pause. This year’s first iteration directly coincided with Prime Day in July, which made it possible to compare prices across retailers in real time.

But Target’s holiday price match guarantee could very well win over even the most devoted Prime disciples: If anything you buy from the bullseye-branded department store gets cheaper there at some point through Dec. 24, it’ll adjust your payment to the better deal. Better yet, Target will also match select competitors’ discounts within 14 days of purchase. Amazon is not offering any sort of policies itself.

Target shoppers can further take advantage of its free-to-join Target Circle loyalty program for extra discounts, including an additional 5% off all purchases with a Target RedCard, as well as « buy now, pay later » financing options.

If that’s enough to convince you not to wait around for the Prime Early Access Sale, keep reading — we’ve compiled a list of everything worth buying during Deal Days below. (We’ll be updating it constantly as the sale progresses, so bookmark this page and check back often.) Comparisons to historical Amazon pricing data have been included when available.

Note: All newly added deals are marked with a ✨, while deals with a strikeout were either sold out or no longer available at their sale price when we last looked.

TV deals

Why we like it

When’s the last time you saw a 65-inch 4K smart TV sitting under the $300 mark? Exactly. This Westinghouse display is nothing remarkable as far as picture quality goes, but with Dolby Audio and a built-in Roku interface (which will let you cast content from a smartphone), it’s great for streaming.

Gaming deals

Why we like it

The disc drive-less version of Microsoft’s next-gen console features 500GB of storage, native 1440p, and 120fps gameplay support.

It typically sells for $299, but Target will take $50 off and throw in a free Xbox Wireless Controller for your Player 2, which is an additional $59.99 value. This easily beats its Series S offer from the first Deal Days event in July, when buying the console at full price nabbed you three free months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Gift card deals

Why we like it

Need to stock up on toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, or laundry detergent at some point? Target will hand you a free $15 gift card when you spend at least $50 on household essentials during its Deal Days event.
