Black Friday is here and so are major deals on headphones and earbuds. While we might still see prices drop even further in the days ahead, the majority of Black Friday deals are already live. In other words, if you’ve had your eye on a pair of fancy headphones or earbuds, you should grab them before they’re gone.
Stand-out deals include Bose headphones with $80 markdowns, Beats at well over $100 off, and AirPods hitting (and maybe even besting) previous record lows. You’ll notice that most major retailers are matching each other’s prices (with very few exceptions), which is great; if something sells out on Amazon, for example, you’ll usually be able to find it at Best Buy or Walmart.

Why we like it
They may not be the newest in the Beats lineup, but the Beats Solo3 are still a solid pair of on-ear headphones — and at just $79, they’re also some of the most affordable. They don’t offer active noise cancellation, but they do pack some things worth mentioning: Apple’s W1 chip for enhanced iOS performance, support for spatial audio, impressive bass-heavy audio, exceptional comfort (according to our friends at PCMag, which is owned by Mashable’s publisher, Ziff Davis), and an unbeatable 40-hour battery life. This is the lowest price we’ve seen this season on these on-ear headphones, and Amazon and Walmart are both offering the deal.

Why we like it
What can we say about the AirPod Pros that you probably haven’t already heard? Apple’s first earbuds with active noise cancellation may not be the newest out there, but damn if they still don’t get the job done. You can use them sans ANC, in transparency mode for hearing your surroundings, or block out the world around you with the ANC. Maybe they don’t have some improvements to the new second-generation AirPod Pros, but $159 matches the best price we’ve ever seen them at (which they reached last Black Friday).
The biggest downside of these buds is their battery life, but at this price, it’s not that much different than most earbuds with ANC. Plus, they’re a far cry cheaper than the second-gen Pros, which also have a record-low discount at $199.99.
