PlayStation Wrap Up dashboard

PlayStation is here to tell you that you probably played too many video games in 2022.

The video game version of Spotify Wrapped has arrived in the form of the PlayStation Wrap Up. Simply go to that website, sign in using your PlayStation Network account information, and Sony will deliver a nice little summary of your gaming year…on PlayStation. Other platforms, like Xbox or Switch, will obviously not be counted here.

So, what kind of data can you look forward to? Well, you’ll get a rundown of how many total hours you spent gaming, how many games you played, your top five games in terms of hours spent, and even how many trophies you earned.

For example, here’s my PlayStation Wrap Up:

I’m a little ashamed by that hour count. Credit: PlayStation

Yeah, I played way too much Hades. It’s so easy to boot that up and fiddle around for 20 minutes, and then do that again and again and again until suddenly hours have gone by. The rest of my top five was populated by Final Fantasy XIV, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077, and Risk of Rain 2.

Oh, and once you’re done with the PlayStation Wrap Up, you’ll get a voucher code for a free Astro Bot avatar. He’s the little robot mascot Sony has used for PlayStation for a few years now. You might recognize him as the star of Astro’s Playroom from the PS5 launch. He’s cool.

Hopefully you don’t also have more than 1,000 hours spent on PlayStation alone in one year. Everyone would understand, though. The general state of the world in 2022 made it easy to get lost in video games. And clearly, some of us just got a little too lost.
