The annual Meta Connect conference will be live streamed online and in the metaverse starting at 10 a.m. PT on Oct 11.

It’s slated to run for more than five hours, beginning with a keynote speech from CEO Mark Zuckerberg and ending with an address from thought leader John Carmack at 2:30 p.m. PT.

You can expect details about the Meta Quest Pro and more than 25 unique developer sessions led by 30 industry experts and innovators. Here’s how to experience it all:

The keynote event will be available to stream on the Reality Labs Facebook page. After the keynote, links on the page will direct you to individual Connect sessions.

Register here to watch the whole event live in the metaverse in Meta Horizon Worlds on Meta Quest 2. Meta says it’s created custom-built world for the event called « Meta Square » where developers can network with other devs.

On demand

The keynote, developer state of the union, and all developer sessions will be available on demand on the Reality Labs Facebook page after the keynote concludes.

Everything you need to know about building and starting a business in the metaverse. Walk throughs of updated tools and programs from by led by staff at Reality Labs, Meta’s internal VR R&D department.

12:20 PM PT – Developer Sessions

These detailed product, tool, and hardware update sessions will be streamed live and available to view on demand after the event. Sessions with thought leaders and experts include breakouts titled « Build Immersive Experiences, » « Create Natural Interactions, » « Design for Everyone, » Grow Your Business, » and « Extend the Metaverse, »
