The official trailer for Doom Patrol Season 4 has arrived, offering a glimpse at the misfit DC superheroes’ next weird adventures. Expect more time-travel, reluctant heroism, and potentially a few orgasms.
With how much trouble and trauma the Doom Patrol has experienced, you’d hope that someone would finally cut them a break. Unfortunately Season 4 doesn’t look all that restful, with the group now having to deal with the sinister-sounding Immortus Project.
As former adversary Madame Rogue (Michelle Gomez) explains, the Immortus Project is « the pursuit of immortality, » because that’s an idea that has never gone wrong before. It looks as though Rita Farr’s (April Bowlby) inability to age may soon become very relevant.
The series also stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, and Joivan Wade as members of the titular patrol.
Season 4 of Doom Patrol premieres Dec. 8 on HBO Max.
