SAVE $200: As of Oct. 18, the 2020 Apple MacBook Air M1 (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) is back at its Prime Day price of $799 at Amazon — that’s 20% off its MSRP and its lowest price ever.
While Amazon’s Prime Early Access Sale wasn’t the massive blowout the retail giant likely hoped for, we can’t deny that the deals were hella good. If you missed out, you’ll be happy to discover that many of them are sneakily still hanging around — even some that seem too good to be true.
If you’re in the market for a new laptop, the Apple M1 MacBook Air is back at a record-low $799 at Amazon. That’s $200 (or 20%) off its MSRP of $999. You can even choose your favorite color option — gold, space gray, or silver — as all three are on sale.
While it’s no longer the newest MacBook Air in the Apple lineup, it’s a worthy upgrade if you’re still working with an older model. It’s essentially the same as the first 2020 MacBook Air, but it’s the first to feature Apple’s in-house chip: the M1. As Mashable reporter Brenda Stolyar noted, « Apple finally got it right » with this one.
The M1 MacBook Air notably offers longer battery life, silky smooth performance, and the ability to download iOS apps right onto your computer. Not to mention, it’s fanless, so it no longer sounds like it’s about to blast off when you’re multitasking.
It’s not perfect, but at under $800, it’s definitely your best option for upgrading from an older MacBook model.
